While some politicians are using their August recess to hold town hall meetings to discuss healthcare, or take family vacations like the Obamas did last week, it appears that others are finding more creative ways to spend their time.

According to the Huffinton Post, former Republican Majority Leader Tom Delay has agreed to participate in season 9 of “Dancing with the Stars”.

It’ll be fun to watch a politician doing what politicians do best–dancing around people while succeeding mostly by looks and ability of lesser-paid, less-famous professionals–in sequins and spandex!

The show will premier on ABC, September 21.
