Event Details            An “Evening with Celtic Chefs” which benefits the Washington Ireland Program, will feature Professional DC and Irish Chefs offering samples of their signature preparations.  They will be joined by 30+ VIP Chefs serving as their Sous Chefs.

Washington Ireland Program            The Washington Ireland Program for Service and Leadership is a six-month program of personal and professional development that brings outstanding university students from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to Washington, D.C. for summer internships, leadership training, and public service.  While in Washington, students gain invaluable practical experience by completing internships in US government, media, business and non-profit organizations.  At the end of the summer, participants return to Ireland with enhanced professional and interpersonal skills, as well as a new confidence in their ability to work together to make a difference:  www.wiprogram.org.
