CityShopGirl and Skincando team up for scavenger hunt

The hunt begins on Monday, October 5 with daily clues appearing in CityShopGirl’s daily email publication and on twitter handles Twitter.com/CityShopGirl (http://www.Twitter.com/CityShopGirl) and Twitter.com/Skincando (http://www.Twitter.com/Skincando).

After 10 days of hints and over 20 clues, participants will meet with their scavenger hunt items at 6 pm on Saturday, October 17 at Lotus Lounge. This event will be open to the public featuring light appetizers, specialty cocktails, and an announcement of the winners. The Scavenger Hunt DC grand prize (valued at over $2500) includes gift certificates from area vendors including The Ritz-Carlton, iLori, Still Point Spa, Sweetgreen, Urban Chic, LA Boxing, Ginger, Carl Ray make up artist, Crooked Monkey, Nage, Firefly, Chef Geoff and SimplySoles.

There will be a suggested donation of $5 to support Skincando’s efforts in Operation Sand Flea which provides Combat Ready Balm to US troops departing for Iraq and Afghanistan.

Participants must be CityShopGirl subscribers and register an individual or team name (teams are limited to 4 people) by emailing rsvp@cityshopgirl.com. All scavenger hunt participants must be present at the October 17 cocktail party to be eligible to win. Items can be collected anytime during the 2 week window.
