Sen Scott Brown (R!-Mass), who took the liberal stronghold state by storm when he ran on common sense politics earlier this year, told his daughter Ayla that he won’t be putting in a bid for president in 2012.
Ayla, a part-time correspondent for CBS’ The Early Show, interviewed her father, and asked him about the bid and he responded:
“No I’m not interested in running for president right now—at all actually… I’m focusing on getting re-elected right now. That’s my goal.”
When asked about his infamous “my daughters are single” moment, the senator told his daughter, “Whatever you guys do socially is up to you…. You’re both going to have nice lives and if you make your mistakes, that’s up to you guys,” he said. “I was just trying to be funny.”

ManCrunch, and online dating service for gay men, has submitted a rather steamy ad to be aired during the Super Bowl. CBS has not yet cleared the ad, nor has it made a decision either way as to if it will air the ad. CBS’ original response was that all ad slots had been sold, but that doesn’t seem to gel with its ongoing will-they-or-won’t-they game with giving ManCrunch the airtime.
The website’s rep said this: “ManCrunch requested the spot get reviewed anyway just in case another advertiser drops out and a spot becomes available, as often happens, and CBS agreed.”
A CBS rep told Pop Tarts, the FOXnews gossip column, that there are in fact slots still open for advertising, and that he was not sure where that comment had been based.

Some pictures of a hammered Katie Couric have been leaked by an “anonymous source,” which, at this point in the aging news anchor’s career, I can only mean her publicist trying to bring CBS credibility back to the demographic that actually has brains. Apparently these pictures were taken the night after the debut of Couric’s night show on CBS.
