WASHINGTON (WUSA) – DC police say a woman was approached from behind and sexually assaulted by a man with a gun on the 400 block of Q St NW around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the woman was walking down the street and the man forced her into an alley. The man then sexually assaulted and robbed the woman before fleeing the scene.

Police are looking for the suspect who is described as a black male between 20 and 22 years old.  He was wearing a black leather jacket, dark pants, a black and white checkered scarf and a black hat. He had an automatic handgun.
