Citing sexism, Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL), elected in during midterms, is serious about changing Washington.
The freshman congresswoman has made it her first priority to overturn a rule that prevents her from wearing her hats, which are tasteful and flattering. She has asked Boehner to make an exception for her because, well, she is that awesome, and her hats are neither distracting nor better fitted to a goat rodeo than the hallowed halls of Capitol Hill. Since this would require a full floor vote, I hope Boehner sorts this out before anything less serious, like the deficit or government sponsored groping from TSA. More importantly, I hope he also pulls together a spirit day for all the members, so that each may show off his or her support for a favorite sports team.
