National Christmas Tree Lighting
The ceremony will kick off the holiday season in our nation’s capital and can be viewed online LIVE at www.thenationaltree.org beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET with the exclusive National Christmas Tree Lighting pre-show.
Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin will be performing at the 91st annual National Christmas Tree Lighting. Additionally, The Avett Brothers, Grammy award-winning violinist Joshua Bell, acclaimed soprano and musical ambassador Renée Fleming, multicultural operatic trio Forte, and Nolan Williams, Jr. and Voices of Inspiration will join singer/songwriter Janelle Monáe, Latin music superstar Prince Royce, jazz legend Arturo Sandoval and the multiplatinum, Grammy-winning band Train in performing a collection of holiday favorites. The U.S. Army Blues will perform in the pre-show co-hosted by 94.7 FRESH FM’s Tommy McFLY and ABC7/WJLA-TV’s Jummy Olabanji.

Tickets: Free tickets were distributed through an online lottery. The lottery is now closed. Tickets are only required for the lighting ceremony on December 6th. The National Christmas Tree and the Pathway of Peace will be open 10am-10pm until January 1, 2014.

Carrying the holiday spirit, the fourth annual show (a 21 and over event) will remind guests that it is never too late to believe in fairy tales and the charm of winter by taking them on a journey through a spectacular artistic Winter Wonderland and bringing fairy tales to life. Venture to the kingdom of Ice Queen, walk the snow lined path and step into an artistic Winter Wonderland. Set with a backdrop of an enchanted winter forest with snow-topped trees, twinkling lights and fairy-tale creatures, this year’s event will leave a lasting impression! The surprises are to be seen, but one must be there to experience them all.
General Admission: $25; $50 at the door.
Madison and Mistletoe
Join the ladies of The Madison on Saturday, December 7th for Madison and Mistletoe at the Stroga Mansion. Three hours of open bar and White Ford Bronco on stage is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Logan Circle Holiday House Tour 2013
The Logan Circle Community Association (LCCA) will host the 35th annual Logan Circle Holiday House Tour, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, December 8th.
