For one magical evening the GI Film Group, in partnership with Sip with Socialites, will host an unforgettable event, the 2nd annual Officer and an Auction: Stars and Studs charity bachelor auction.

Held at the prestigious Embassy of Austria, the evening will include an open beer and wine barlive entertainment, sumptuous hand-passed appetizers, delicious desserts, celebrity guests, and a silent auction.

EXCLUSIVE TWO NIGHT SOLO EXHIBITION BY KAL (KEVIN KALLAUGHER)!

Kevin Kallaugher (KAL) is the editorial cartoonist for The Economist magazine of London and The Baltimore Sun.

After graduating from Harvard College with honors in 1977, Kevin embarked on a bicycle tour of the British Isles, where he joined the Brighton Basketball Club as a player and coach. After the club hit financial difficulties, Kevin drew caricatures of tourists in Trafalgar Square and on Brighton Pier. In March 1978, The Economist recruited him to become their first resident cartoonist in their 145 year history.

Event will feature live painting presentation by Mr. Kal during the night!

30th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast

The 30th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue. Proceeds from the Breakfast support the Joseph A. Beavers Scholarship. Each of five deserving high school graduates will receive a $10,000 scholarship, bringing them closer to their higher education aspirations.

We look forward to you joining Men Against Breast Cancer and The Hot Spots Network and as always bring friends to indulge in the L2 experience.

Men Against Breast Cancer, the men in pink and blue, are partners in survival, side by side, with the women we love. Men Against Breast Cancer is the first and only national 501(C) 3 non-profit whose missions is to educate, empower and provide men the foundation needed to support their female loved ones suffering through breast cancer. This is highlighted with our awareness ribbon which is pink and blue—signifying that we are partners in survival.

The Hot Spots Network known in the DMV area as the premier provider of photography and video coverage and produces content for The Hot Spots Network. Our show has been seen on DC 50 Home of the CW in Washington DC, FOX, NBC4 and Washington Life TV.

Sunday, January 19th, from 2-4pm we’re kicking off our Sew. Stitch. Save club with a good ol’ clothing swap in DC.

The lovely ladies of vintage & paper goods shop, Analog, are hosting our Sip & Swap.

We have a limited number of tickets & they MUST be purchased in advance – $5 + 5 garments gets ya in the door.
