The Young pARTners Circle of NMWA and the International Club of D.C. hosted an after-hours party at National Museum of Women in the Arts Friday, complete with music, dancing, food, and drinks.
The museum’s current featured exhibit, “Workt by Hand”: Hidden Labor and Historical Quilts, stayed open beyond its normal bedtime through 10 p.m, allowing guests to enjoy a private art show feel at one of DC’s swankiest venues.
The Young pARTners Circle brings together professionals in their 20s and 30s in the D.C. metro area who are interested in advancing women in the arts.
The National Museum of Women in the Arts brings recognition to the achievements of women artists of all periods and nationalities by exhibiting, preserving, acquiring, and researching art by women and by teaching the public about their accomplishments.
