So maybe Valentines Day didn’t pan out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t test your St. Paddy’s Day luck for a good cause at this much anticipated evening! Generously hosted this year by The Huxley DC, the party starts at 7pm and the auction will begin promptly at 8:30. Come dressed to impress and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres as you mingle with the bachelors and bachelorettes before MC Matt Schwartz leads you towards your fate in what will continue to be an unforgettable event!
There will be a suggested donation accepted at the door and both cash and credit cards are accepted during the auction so don’t hold back! All proceeds benefit the Washington Humane Society.
St. Paddy’s Day Kegs and Eggs BrunchThe Shamrock Crawl 2014
Nightlife Agency and Social DC PR have teamed up to bring DC a St. Patrick’s Day Kegs and Eggs Irish Brunch that will bring together both the Irish and the Irish-at-heart. On Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 11:00am-3:00pm dress up in your favorite Irish-themed swag and head over to Madhatter DC for what’s promised to be the area’s most festive Irish celebration.
Early bird tickets are $15 for singles and $25 for couples. After early bird tickets run out admission will be $25 for singles and $40 for couples. Tickets include a gourmet Irish brunch buffet, exclusive drink specials, green glow wear and swag, a DJ, bagpiper, and live music from the local alt-rock band, Irresponsible.
Drink specials include $2 green beer, $3 mixed drinks, $4 Shamrock Shots, $5 Guinness and $7 Irish Car Bombs. The best Leprechaun-themed male and female costume will win green HeadBro (headbro.com) sunglasses and koozies. John Robinson will provide official photography for the event.
St. Patrick’s Day–the time of year when lads and lasses deck themselves in green, dance Irish jigs in the streets, and sing Danny Boy at the bars, while toasting to the luck of the Irish.

Eat for Good: The 2014 Young Playwrights’ Theater Giving Voice Award Gala
Our 2014 Giving Voice Award Gala is Saturday, March 15, and is sure to be an event for the ages.
Sample your way through DC with food and drinks from local restaurants such as The Diner, Buzz Bakery, Lebanese Taverna and Busboys and Poets. Tickets are $50, and all proceeds will benefit YPT and inspire thousands of local students to discover the power and value of their voices and stories through playwriting.

This month, Tea Time DC is bringing you singer and songwriter Laura Tsaggaris who will be sharing her new album, Everyman, with us and well as being generally awesome and entertaining.
Our selected artist, Nima Veiseh, will show us a new concept for the DC and east coast art scene. Nima focuses on lo-fi abstract expressionism, that coordinates textures over many layers to give a unique sound to what you see. His paintings can take up to 50 hours and he is currently doing a live painting exhibit on 14th street.
Come hungry because local Chef Cizuka Seki will be preparing a Japanese-inspired noodle dish and skewer is sure to entice all audiences. DC Brau selected beers will be provided as well.
