Some liberated PR specialist walked into The Capitol last week carrying marijuana during the “Grammys on the Hill” event. Ira Tucker, the publicist for some of the musicians at the event, was stopped during one of the general security checkpoints while walking into the building. The Recording Academy issued this statement to POLITICO: “U.S. Capitol Police have reported that Ira Tucker, an independent music businessman attending GRAMMYs on the Hill Advocacy Day, was arrested for bringing marijuana into the Capitol Visitors Center. Messing testified in before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa and Global health to discuss funding for AIDS.
